anyone know where i can get a 1" diameter u-tube.i have an eshopps 300 overflow with a mag 5 return. the amount of water moving through the u tube JUST manages to push bubbles out. i woke this morning to find a large air pocket in my utube. i need a slightly smaller diameter tube so water will move more quickly and eliminate bubbles. im going away soon and someone will be looking after my tank and i dont want to worry about a flood.

Oh and it's not the size of the tube..it's the flow through your tank that's causing the air bubble in your overflow's siphon tube. Increase the turnover rate and see if that helps any. :)

I agree, upgrade to a Mag 7 and add a ball valve to restrict the flow slightly if needed, the increased flow will increase the pressure thru the tube and keep the bubbles from collecting at the top of the tube.
