Overflow nano tanks

    As to the Seahorses. If you have no SW experience than do not do them. They require very particular care. They need pristine water quality. They need to be fed at least 3 smaller feedings per day. If you have Seahorses you need to have a special set up for them. You would not really be able to have any other fish or corals in the tank. A nano is probably also too small. The smallest tank that is recommended for them is a 20 gallon barring H. zosterae, the dwarf Seahorse. However, with these, you will need other tanks to hatch brine shrimp on a daily basis. In an overflow, the flow may well be stronger than you want. You need to do a lot of research before you go ahead and get into Seahorses. I'm not trying to scare you away, but I want to make sure you know that they are a very delicate animal with very specialized requirements. I would recommend doing a nano reef instead.

    i have to agree with the last statement. my first intentions were to have a seahorse tank. did my research and ended up with my reef tank. mind you , i have never even had a goldfish.
