    you can build an overflow standpipe.. I couldn't imagine how loud my tank would be without mine.. Mine came with my tank, its an all-glass overflow pipe.. its dead silent..

    yes, after doing some more research I'm beginning to think that this is what I need to do. I was just curious if there where any other ideas out there besides the standpipe...
