thanks for the reply.I talked to many users saltwateraquarium and some say that is enough 1inch tube others that is not enough.and wanted to know before to start a think tank from an old aquarists of saltwateraquariums.

Your pump has 1800gph say? or 180gph? I seems to me an enormous amount of (1800gph = 6800l / h.

I think a 530gph return pump really is not enough?

please explains me with this issue.

Yup, 1800 gph, but thats what the pump is rated at. That doesnt mean that is what I have going through my system. You have to take into consideration how many feet of head, any elbows and my spray bars. If I had to guess, I would say that I have roughly 1000-1200 gph going through my system.

If your asking me what pump/gph you should have, thats a personal pref.
Some people like a low gph and have powerheads to create circulation. Others(like me) dont like powerheads in the display tank(DT) and have a bigger return pump(RP) to produce the same circulation inside the DT. Its really up to you.

Giving a recommendation as to the flow rating on a 1 inch PVC needs to be qualified by also stating what type of overflow you have. A 1 inch pipe with a strainer cant handle as much flow as a overflow box with a full syphon on the return plumbing. Air that gets into the drain severely decreases the amount of water that can flow through the drain.

Here is a good read on the benefits of overflows versus drilling the tank and running something like a durso standpipe.
