I currently have a 75 gallon non drilled tank and HATE my current set-up. I am debating on drilling my current tank and installing a coast to coast overflow with beananimal overflows. For the cost of everything involoved in this setup would it be cheaper to purchase a brand new 75 gallon with built in overflow or should I go ahead with my project and DIY everything? I am all for DIY and learning new things and doing it on my own but price wise I dont want to spend a fortune on glass and all the plumbing needed. Thanks in advance.

I made a few coast to coast styles, box and V style. They work extremely well - I even have a PVC over flow on my discus tank only because it was running as I made the new addition and thus drilling was not an "easy" option.

    EDIT:

Also I would throw in that in the end I saved over 50% of the cost doing it myself compared to local quotes.
