    Hi All,

I've had a refugium running for a while now and just recently read about the negative affects of running water directly from my overflow into the refugium. Is this truly a valid concern or just splitting hairs? I have a slow flow running through the fuge which then feed my sump. Algae growth seems great, but why not consider improvements, right? Thanks for any insight.

How slow of a flow are we talking about here. My overflow doesn't end up directly in the fuge but i cant see why i would hurt if its low flow. JMO.
