    I dont think its an overkill, but I never heard of that brand. Looks like their trying to copy Bubble King skimmers.

    I don't think it's overkill, and I've heard good things about the skimmer.

    I was considering a smaller one, the Bubble-Magus NAC6, for my 29 gallon.

    I've heard great things about them. There are a lot of people on reefcentral that swear by them. Matt Rogers is actually using the smaller Bubble Magus nac6 for his new tank build.
