Is this overstocked or incompatible? 90g tank. 110lbs LR, 100lbs sand. 40g sump, Reef Octopus protein skimmer rated for 150g, 4500gph flow from three koralia mag 5s.
    Proposed stocking list:
    Harptail (Mozambique) blenny
    Orchid dottyback
    Mystery wrasse
    Potter's angel
    Foxface rabbitfish
    Yellow (or scopas) tang

Doesn't sound bad to me. Should be overstocked and I don't think there will be any conflicts. The dottyback and wrasse will make adding new fish in difficult once they become established. I would add them last.

Actually, that sounds great for your 90 gallon tank.

Orchid dottybacks can be aggressive/territorial sometimes, but I think you will be fine with the amount of space in the tank.

I have the dottyback in my 40g right now. It's about 1.5" and get terrorized by all my fish and even my pistol shrimp. I barely ever see it. It hides under rocks all day long.

I would still add it last so it doesn't change to becoming the terror.

Everything looks O.K. except the Scopas Tang. These grow to a foot in length.;) Also keep an eye on the Potters angel as they can nip at corals and clams.

So you think a yellow would be better than a scopas?

I personally wouldn't do either as the Yellow will get fairly large as well and require alot of swimming space. I would do a Tomini tang,or a Kole Tang. Heres a pic of my Tomini Tang. They get darker as they age and are quite beautiful fish.

This is the smallest Tang reaching only 6".You really have to be carefull with Tangs because of there propensity to get attacked by Ich.(Small scales) Keeping this species requires a stress free enviroment(including plenty of room) if you don't want to have issues that could wipe out your tank. Good luck

look for the tank raised orchid dottybacks. if you get 2 juveniles they almost always pair. i say almost because nothing is set in stone. but i have paired them twice and a friend also has paired them once.
when paired they are very peaceful fish. in both tanks i have had these fish they have had bubble nests. they are interesting to watch. i would not have a tank without a pair in it, they are tops on my fish list.
