The mystery wrasse and potters angelfish will compete for food(pods). Other than that it sounds great.

Well since the Potters angel's natural diet consists of mainly sponges I don't think there pod consumption(if any) would be a detrement. ;)

Here's another question, would it be possible to have a small school (1male:3female) of lyretail orange anthias in a 90g? Forget the stocking list because if it's possible I'll whatever changes are necessary to facilitate the inclusion of an anthias school in the tank.

I think they should be OK in the tank.

I've had 3 lyretails in my 90 gallons for like a year and half now. They are doing great. The male is kind of a jerk, but not too bad. He just likes to keep his ladies in line. Though I do not approve of this behavior!!

They do require more frequent feedings (like 3 times a day), but once you get them nice and fat and healthy you can back off that. They also like lots of flow and clean water. Definitely wait for the tank to be well established before adding them (ie very stable water parameters).

They are beautiful fish, eye catching colors and quite active! They do rest in the rocks though, so just be aware. Used to freak me out until I got used to it.

i have 3 bartlette's in a 35 gallon. they are doing great i have had them since shortly after starting the tank. a year and a half ago, i do feed them 2 to 3 times a day. Also Anthias seem to love cleaner shrimp. so if you get anthias be sure to get a cleaner shrimp or 2 for them. its funny to watch how the shrimp has not much interest but the anthias are insistent they want to be picked and cleaned

Pics would be worthless too right now. The tank is empty and sitting on the floor of my fishroom. I'm still in the planning stages. I'm getting 300lbs of rock next weekend from a friend. I'll post pics after that. If you really want to see a tank, here's my current 40 breeder.

If I do the anthias, when should I add them to the tank? Closer to the beginning or one of the last few fish?
