I think my bio cube doesn't have enough oxygen in the water, idk how to test it.. and I dont know how to get more in there. I have had several fish die for unknown reasons.. Im suspecting oxygen since the prams are fine. Temp is around 75-80. Its a 14 gal with skimmer

most people use sumps for oxygen...but oxygen gets into the water by any kind of surface agitation...pointing a powerhead at the surface helps..skimmers add lots of oxygen...also hang on back filter add oxygen..

alot of people with closed top tanks have oxygen problems...

what symptons were your fish showing before they died..

you could have also had a stray voltage go through the tank from a powerhead or something..

You need to have water surface movement using a pump or airstone (but airstones can cause a lot of salt creep so be careful with that option) or the return of your skimmer - just something to break the water surface up.

There are test kits of dissolved oxygen but you probably don't need one. Are your fish breathing heavily? Are they listless?

Yea its a closed top aquarium, they all just didn't move much and were like breathing heavily like my blenny's gills were going so fast he was so stressed out. my clown goby that I have had for... like 3 years? has lived through everything haha he is always just fine, and my fire shrimp too. I tried to introduce a clown, bangaii Cardinal fish and blenny all died within 48 hours.

yeah i would say that adding those other fish may have consumed the other oxygen.. try pointing a powerhead at the water surface to make like a rippling affect..

what are you params.. everything you can test for..

yeah idk either..once you get all the test kits it will be easier to decide..but the symptons you said sounds like oxygen..

Yea and thats what I was thinking... idk I'll point the power head up and figure it out. I have a maxi jet 1200.. but I was going to put it on a bigger tank, idk if It would suite a biocube.

a mj1200 on a biocube 14 is a little much, unless you had barebottom tank packed with nothing but sps..

on your 14, sicce just came out with some nice powerheads, im about to get one and try it out..the voyager 1 is a nice little nano powerhead, it rotates so you can get currents and is adjustable from 607 gph - like 265gph...

im gonna get the voyager 2, its 800 gph, but they are all adjustable..pretty nice powerhead they came out with..
