Oh man I could not agree more!

 

Well, today the sand came in. Remember that nice, white, awesome sand I had wanted? Yeah the stuff I had ordered? If not heres the link to the sand:

Yeah, to put it lightly, I am not real happy about this. I sent an e-mail to the seller as soon as I saw it. I will see if the problem is corrected in a timely fashion, and will keep you guys updated.

 

this week hasnt been good for correct shipments.

 

Hey Jason, you sure you didn't just miss the toilet? seriously though, you just keep getting screwed over... I would have them send you a goodie for the pooh up lol.

 

wow, colour blindness is one thing, but this is not even close

hope it gets sorted, as like everyone else, Im dead keen to see this tank with water, sand and rock in it

Thanks guys. Right now I am hoping its just a screw up. I really hope this isn't the sand they are trying to sell in that listing. With a 800 sales and a 100% feedback score, I don't see how it could be. I mean, I know I can be particular, but my God, this isn't even freaking close.

 

dude, being "particular" is totally irrelevant, you don't even have to be the most anal person alive to tell those two sands are like night and day. I would be shocked if that was the correct sand they send out with that kind of feedback.

Any progress on the stand?

 

wow! First, that is an AWESOME deal! I wish I would have fell into something like that! I paid 200 for my 72 bow! My dream tank is a 8 x 2 x 2!!!!!! That is the perfect tank to do everything with. You can maximize your wattage with 4 foot bulbs but if it were my tank (still dreaming) I would put 4 metal halides (2 on each side of the brace) because I wouldn't want to heat that glass support and why potentially alter light that could be in the tank? I know glass robs some vitals from what it could be but I dunno how much. I like the 4 T5s for start-up though!

Oh, good Idea with seperate sump and fuge... I did the same and I really like it.

My god that is for sure not the right sand. I think I'm going to buy my sand from that other guy I showed you. I hope it works out for you.
