I love the blue! It looks about the same as our color. What a project! You're putting BAD ideas in my son's head - he already wants to tear out walls and convert my guest bathroom into a fish room....

I fail to see why this is a bad thing...

Is the fuge still going to be a display tank as well? for little sea critters?

nice construction job on the stand pack. excellent mitre joints there. will it stay that way or are you going to "face" the stand? nice to see it done. slante to the guiness. (slante is pronounced slantcha , gaelic for cheers.)

I haven't gotten much farther. Got the overflows painted. But that's about it so far. Was outta state last night.
I am hoping to attack this thing and pretty much finish it this weekend.

Cool, what kind of plans you got for the fuge? anything well thought out yet or sticking with just a fuge?

Big plans. I built it to be displayed for a purpose.
Fuge is going to be lit by 65W PC's. It will contain some of the normal macro's, but also some nice ornamental ones as well. Eventually, it will have a pair of mating dwarf seahorses. The macro's will make for excellent natural hitches.
