Nah this is Pack's thread not mine

 

Well, as an update, I hit a slight delay with the paint. Spray paint just ain't cutting it. It just doesn't flow into the grain of the wood very well, and the wood itself is just absorbing to darn much of it (have gone through 5 cans of primer and still need to prime). So, I am going to switch to a thicker brush on paint, something like indoor bathroom stuff, so it will be nice and thick and at least semi-water resistant. The problem is, it's impossible to find in black. I have 2 more paint stores to check with, but I am probably going to end up having to special order it. Bummer.
But on a positive note, all of the remaining equipment came in today. Bulkheads, gate valve, misc plumbing stuff, and the lighting system for my fuge (65W PC). So all I have left is drill the fuge (but still waiting on the drill bit), paint the stand and DT, then get everything set-up.

Man! I hate to be in your shoes..lol the anxiety is probably getting more intense as all the pieces together, I know I can't hardly wait to see it holding water

 

so will this be progressing by the time i get back from teh bahamas or will this thread continue on past 80 pages with no water in the tank

 

I think we can get it up to 80 pages. How long will you be in the Bahamas?

One week starting monday. The countdown has begun packleader. Swine flu is not an excuse

 

Because of swine flu, the airports are going to be closed, passports revoked, towns set in full martial law/quarantined, and your not going to be able to go anyways. You will be at home with the rest of us, guarding you stash of bottled water, canned food, and MRE's with your life.

 

...yeah plus there will be ninjas and chuck norris at the airport, so you definitely won't be going.

 

Guess I will have to make more homebrew. Turning contaminated water into wine!
