Well, as an update I was finally able to track down some paint. Going to start back up on that tonight. I re-located the 40 yesterday (major PITA). Tonight I am going to set out my TV/entertainment stand out on the sidewalk with a "free" sign on it and put it on craigslist. Then, once the paint is done, I will be able to start moving stuff in from the garage and setting it up.
On another note, I was playing around yesterday, and realized one thing: with the lens I currently have for my camera, I will not be able to take a "full tank shot". Just can't get far enough away to fit the whole thing!

I know I know! I am disappointed. Pics are kinda my thing ;) But, I haven't tried it yet with my crappy little point-and-shoot. It might be able to zoom out far enough to do it. I might check that tonight. Kinda hard when you have a 7-foot tank in a 11x11 foot room! I've been wanting to get another lens for my Nikon anyways, as the one I have is better suited to portrait work (doesn't allow in much light, shallow DOF), but the $800 for a lens just isn't going to be in the budget anytime soon!

Just caught up on the thread. For those MST3K fans, I am currently watching The Giant Gila Monster. No Vampires. No Zombies. One Giant Gila Monster. Terrifying.

That's what I was thinking, Or they make the Nikkor 18-35 that I played with not too long ago, that worked pretty well. I am currently stuck with a 35-55 :-/
