    Probably around 200 pounds. I had 173 pounds I had ordered for this, and a couple buckets worth laying around in the garage.
    I am not going bare bottom, I have 300 pounds of sand that will go in once the water is mixed and in the tank.

    Yeah, looking good. You'll notice 2 or 3 inches of sand will make those 2 rock islands look a bit shorter. You got all the rock from the 40 going in there too, so you'll definitely have some rearranging to do later on.

    OK, it's midnight, I have mixed more salt than I ever have in my life, and the tank is half full. Mixing it in 5 gallon buckets, 4 gallons at a time is hard, tedious work ;) I got it about half full, then fired up a powerhead. But I leave you with this:

    I've been following this thread (all zillion waterless pages of it), and the tank is going to be fantastic! Jwin called me over to the computer to see your water bottle in the tank the other day - funny!
