 right in the trash or on your nightstand? C'mon, you know you can't part from the HK sticker! I am curious though, is the next one going to be all sparkly and perty? ;D.

So what are the plans for water movement/skimming, seriously. That size tank is going to eat up the electricity bill as well, hope you are prepared dude!

Skimming will be the Octo extreme 300 or 350. C'mon Matty, did you read the thread?
I haven't decided on powerheads yet. I am probably going to want to use the aquacontroller's wavemaker function, but that will mean Koralia's are out. I also need to figure out what exactly my return rates are going to be before deciding on a complete flow package.

If your 40 looks that nice, I can't wait to see this up and running. Always cool to see other people upgrade their tanks also.

    Congrats on your steal!

Just caught up with this thread. Nice score. Have you decided how you're going to drill it? How many holes? Where? Etc? Are you going to do a closed loop? I would recommend drilling more holes than you think you will need for future expansion. Keep us updated!

My exact thoughts as well. I was possibly going to go with 6 holes, but maybe 4.
I am not going closed loop. I would really like to run a wavemaker/tidal program on the tank, so powerheads it is

Downsizing?!?! Aww, c'mon Casey, go big! ;)
What were you thinking of downsizing to? The 40 system will be up for sale eventually ;)

    I've been pondering a nice all-in-one 29.

Is this due to the cost and the time your putting into it for maintenance and supplies?
