Well, really went at the plumbing today. Wanted to make it a whole weekend thing and get it down, but it just wasn't happening for me on Saturday.
But, I got most of the return/manifold stuff done.

Also, over the weekend, Sacrificial Damsel killed two stones with one bird.

Most excellent dude. Most excellent. Do you feel better now? Found your energy? How come it's Sunday evening when this stuff gets done. Noooooo, not Friday evening or Saturday afternoon. But Sunday night!!!!

    I like it. :)

I actually started in on it around noon today. Kinda went back and forth with it and other stuff I had to get done around the house. Yesterday, the hardware stores were a disaster. It took me 3 1/2 hours just to go out and buy the stuff. By the time I got home I was already so done with plumbing!

Now I get to go to HD to get the rest of the stuff to finish. Nothing like buying more than you think you need and being done 1/3 of the way through.

    Thanks!
Despite the entire world trying to fight me, I have finally gotten everything up and running. Was up till about 3am with it last night. Driving the skimmer off of the main returns just wasn't working, so I put it's original pump back in place. In the process Last night I managed to pump about 15 gallons of water on the floor ::) But all is successful now. I am done to one pump now that I am not driving the skimmer. My only complaint is that the pumps is VERY noisy. I may put some sound board/foam on the inside of the front panels to help combat the noise for now, and possibly look into a different pump all together down the road.
On an interesting note, I have to cut the front panels again now. The stand compressed about an 1/8" since putting the tank on it.
