and finally, the moment we have all been waiting for (well at least me)...
The correct fish I wanted in the first place! ;D Special thanks to RNO Corals for sourcing one for me. Nothing wrong with good service, getting what you asked for, and keeping it local if you ask me ;)
    And the pics:

He's a neat fish. Was a little shy at first, but later this evening is definitely warming up to the tank. It's doing mad dashes from left to right, using the whole length of the tank as I type. He is pretty big (about 5-6"), which was a little surprising at first seeing it in the bag, but looks really good in the big tank. Also, though its hard to tell in the pics, he has a slight amount of blue striping on his pelvic fins, which I have never seen before in a CB. I am happy ;)

    Sorry, been a while!
Here are some updated FTS's (sort of) featuring the CBB:

It took him till Sunday to feel totally comfy with his new home, and start rock grazing. Tried feeding, wasn't interested (common problem and the main hurtle with copperbands). So Monday, I took a small rock from the sump, drilled 4 holes in it, crammed a mix of meaty foods in the holes, and put it by his favorite area. About 20 minutes later he was eating the stuff out of it. And he must have got the picture, because tonight he was happily gobbling up mysis, blood worms, and my home made straight from the water column. I definitely feel better overcoming this obstacle so quickly.

Nice technique! Good that he's taken so readily to your feedings. One less thing to worry about.

I picked up a kole tang about 3 weeks ago now, and have two clips--one with seaweed, and one with broccoli there every day for him. He's never touched either one. He is constantly "sucking at the glass," though. He also seems to dig the mysis and brine I feed. He's constantly grazing on the rockwork, although there's not much algae there. He's not thinning out, so I think he'll make it just fine.

    Thanks!

Try sticking your seaweed sheets and broccoli in the rock work where he grazes. I had to do that with my old naso and my hippo. If they come across it, they may figure out "oh, that's food after all!" and learn to use the clip. Its what gave me the idea with the CBB.

a lot of times, RS, the bristletooth tangs won't take to the clip too readily. They really like to grind the film type algae off the rocks. Your kole will be just fine. You may wanna get him some frozen emerald entree or seaweed select and see if he will go for that just to make sure he's getting his veggies.

Congrats on the CBB pack. Great looking fish!!!!
