Had to look back in the 40 thread. Early December is when I got it. So about 9 months.

Well, I leave in three hours for my summer vacation, a 3-day camping trip out into the outer edge of Desolation Wilderness, in the Eldorado National Forest. Spent about 2 hours on the tank last night, and got everything pretty much ready to go. Will feed the fish right before I leave, so they will be fine until I get back (Sunday afternoon/early evening). My biggest worry is that if something should go awry, no one will have even a chance of getting a hold of me (cell phones are useless that far out).
Does the fact I worry about the tank constantly while on vacations mean I have a problem?

i think the only problem you have pack , is worrying about your "wet family" . i applaude that type of problem. alot of work went into it and totally understandable to have it on your mind. im sur all will be good when you get home. and enjoy your holiday to the max

Nope. :) If you didn't worry about it that's when you have the problem. At least that's how an addict will justify it.

On my last camping trip, my sump sprang a leak that I discovered (literally) as I was walking out the door to leave......it didn't ruin my trip, but I definately would have had more fun no having to worry about it.....have fun camping!

Thanks guys! I will have fun for sure, but still worry. Just like last summer! This is my main reason I want an aquacontroller, is just for the fact I can get e-mail/text alerts and be able to control stuff off site because I worry so much.
But, there are others at the house, even with fairly decent aquarium knowledge, albeit freshwater and not reef. But, better than nothing.

    Well, sometimes. Sort of... ;)
