My fuge (since its displayed) is set above my sump. The fuge tank itself is drilled on both sides. The overflow on the right side is T'd off and goes into one part of the fuge. The water exits the other side and simply gravity drains into the sump.

This is about the only pic of it I have access to right now. It shows everything but the exit. If you need better pics, let me know:

Well, finally got my lid straightened away. Ended up going with just good old egg crate. Not sure how long it will stay though, as I am not totally happy with the light reduction. But it shall remain until I find something better:

And I figured hey might as well test it out to the extreme. So I picked up a new fish today, this blue spotted jaw fish. Pic is bad as he is hanging out in the back corners of the tank, but hopefully I will get better shots once he gets more comfortable and gets a good burrow going. I shall name him Mortgage.

Where did you get the jawfish from? Tahoe or over the hill?

You lost me right after "Deadliest Catch" - I've seen glimpses of it - a show where people are paid lots of money to risk their lives in Perfect Storm-like seas to catch crabs - if they don't die, that is. It's one of those shows Jwin watches on my little kitchen TV with his butt on one countertop and his feet on another countertop, TV in the middle, and him shoveling in food......

    See above.

Awwwww, he looks so sad. :( Kind of like my mortgage....;D

Well, you couldn't have picked a better time to cover your tank. I've had 2 bluespot jawfish and they both went the way of the dodo after jumping out of my tank.

i think i've seen a how-to video around here somewhere on building a fish wall out of egg crate that doesn't block light to the tank but blocks the light from bleeding into the room... i think it had duct tape around the outside so nothing could get through either. ;););D
