Actually she gave me quite a scare at first. The first thing I did when tearing down the tank was to remove the rocks. I pulled each rock and gave it a visual before putting them in the buckets. Well, at the end of that, when there was no rocks, she wasn't in the tank. We searched and searched and couldn't find her. I even thought she may have jumped and the cat got her, I really had no clue.
After I started to load the rocks at the new location, sure **** she was in the rock bucket. She must have hid INSIDE one. ::)
Shes doing well though. Was algae grazing before I went lights out. She's comfy in a hidey hole now. Colors good.

Well, as promised, here is a pic of the tank after the move. The aquascaping is different. I moved the rocks farther back and made the "shelves" a lot bigger. I also created even more caves/hidey holes for my creatures. Let me know what you guys think!

    Did full testing today:
    SG: 1.025
    Temp:77
    Ammonia:0
    Nitrite:0
    Nitrate: 0
    PH:8.2
    Ca:460
    Mg:1450
    dKH:12.1
    PO4:0.3

All in all, not too bad for having to do it so quickly. It seems I may have avoided a mini-cycle that sometimes comes along with this type of activity. I will dose some phophat-e to bring down the PO4. But now I can build a stand so I can use a larger sump/fuge than planned, which will definitely help that out. Everyone looks to be 100%. Even the torch, which suprises me, I expected it to take at least a few days from the stress of the move.
I really like the new black background. It makes everything in the tank pop out just a little bit more than the dark blue I had before. And for some reason, it seems to enhance the shimmer effect from my light.

    Aquascaping looks great..
Is it stacked or secured down somehow?
That's hilarious about the Hippo hiding in a rock... too weird.

    Thanks!
I just stacked it. Most of my rock is fiji "shelf" rock, in which its really flat. It stacks really nicely and is very stable. I really dont like to secure/glue or anything like that with my rock, because I like to meddle with stuff too much. So I like to keep it as easy as possible to move if need be

That would be nice. My rock seem so light .. almost like it wants to float , so I pretty much have to secure it.

Picked up some Pulsating Xenia today! Opened up nicely and is pumping away. It was very frustrating researching this as many people have different opinions on where it should be placed. Special thanks to mission for his time and advice on this one! ;)
