Very nice Pack. I always enjoy seeing your pics. I hate you lost a cool fish but IMO you got one way better. I just hope he stays on his best behavior for you in the reef.

    Thanks scenario!
I really miss the CBB it was cool. But the singapore is also very cool, and probably one you even see less of.
The angel is doing very good today. It's slowly becoming less shy, but still is a little skittish. I did see a nip this morning, but it was just only that; a nip. I'm not going to hold it against the fish just yet. Actually, my hippo nipped everything in the tank when I first got it ::) Until it nipped the torch and got a pretty sore mouth from it :) I got the angel to eat this morning again. Made my own food for the first time last night and ALL the fish go insane for it, even the mandarin.
Have also come up with a name for the angel. Shadow

Hey Packleader, I saw in an earlier thread that you might be interested in trying out another anemone. If this is the case I can help you out. We are in Reno too. My husband and I have several tank raised LTA's. They are beautiful. I can send you some pics. I know its intimidating, but we have had huge success with these.

I am still undecided on whether or not I will. The main reason I was leaning towards trying again was due to my clowns hosting in corals and damaging them. But recently they have found a zoa rock that is fairly tolerant of them wallowing around in it. It might be something I will try again in the future though.

Thanks for all the compliments! I will definitely think of you first if I decide on an anemone. And yes, my own food. Lemme get the recipe down here:
    Bay Scallops
    Clams
    Shrimp (frozen, raw. Not cooked)
Garlic (don't bother spending $20 dollars on the aquarium target garlic supplements. I use the juice from the little jars of minced garlic at the grocery stores)
    Selcon
    Spinach
    Broccoli

Run all above through a food processor with just enough water to keep it from sticking on the sides. Poured everything into a ziplock bag, layed the bag sideways in the freezer. I made almost two pounds of food like this for about $6.

Awesome. I'll be making it as soon as I pick up the ingredients.

That sucks that your CBB died, they are such beautiful fish, but your angel is really cool too. Also love those pink and green zoas. I also actually like your rock work better now then before, it does give more room for corals. Tanks is looking pretty good.

Well, I have a story now. My angel has become a lot more comfortable, so I was sitting in front of the tank watching it. It turned a corner, went to a zoa patch, and just went to town. Violently nipping and making himself a real good meal.
I started yelling, waving arms, the whole works. He swam off to hide behind the rocks. Great, and the next time I can get it out is this weekend. Horrible thoughts of panic swirled about my head. I went up close to get a view of the destruction and found... undamaged polyps with a big chunk of nori seaweed sheet stuck within the zoa patch. :grinthumbs: Boy that angel wanted that nori.

Got a few more pics. Better this time, it doesnt scatter to the rocks now every time I come to the tank. Well, at least when I'm not yelling at it for eating nori ;)

And it's recently become obsessed with my skimmer's overflow box. It doesn't nip at the algae or anything. It just sits there and stares at it. So weird.

LMFAO!! Poor little guy....This reminds me of my kids. I once reprimanded my two year old for yelling "S#/#" over and over and over....only to find out that he saw a JET!!!! He was really yelling " JET, JET, JET!" hahahah!! You cant blame yourself, I just went straight to Toys R Us and spent a ton of money on him. Maybe your little angel deserves a little more Nori eh?

On a side note, how funny that it is inrtrigued with the overflow box? I just love the personalities of fish.
