Yes it is feeding well. Had some brine, mysis, and has been visiting the clip already, and has only been in the tank for about 6 hours.
The coral in the corner is a branch of my kenya tree.

Henio started showing slight signs of ich today. Not too worried, still has plenty of energy and an appetite to match. Will increase feedings and stay on top of params.

Good deal on the bannerfish, Pack.
I found a 10 gallon at a tag sale today for $3, so I couldn't pass that up either.
Good to have around for a QT tank, especially since my old 10g is ready for refugium duty.

I know what you mean. I may get one going when the 200 is running and I have a lot more at stake. Just never really needed one yet. Have had a few new fish come in with ich, and it's always solved itself when the param's are good and they are fed well. Both my hippo and mandarin had ich when I got them.

Today, I undertook the task of tearing down the 40, moving it, then setting it back up. Had to do this as the 200 is going to occupy the area the 40 currently was. I have done this before, for an actual move, so I had a good idea of what to do, but it doesn't make it any less stressful or a PITA.

    Second bucket held softies:

Tank about half-full. Remaining rock when into 3 more buckets:

Tank about 1/4 full, with only livestock and sand. This is right before I moved the livestock into it's own bucket:

Tank in it's ready to move state. Since it's only a 40, it's not that heavy to move like this. Also, not having to do anything with the sand bed is a huge plus, and helps minimize the chances of hitting a cycle associated with a tank move like this:

Tank in it's new location. I took the opportunity to go back to the blue background:

This is where most of the stuff was stationed during the move. Bucket on the far end holds the livestock. I added an airstone, and set a lid on the bucket to keep it dark (helps keep the fish calm), but careful to still allow ventilation. It was 74 degrees in the house today, so I didn't bother with a heater.
The hippo and henio have been battling a slight case of ich lately. Normally I don't recommend it, but since everything had to be removed anyways, I took the opportunity to do a FW dip on them both. If you look carefully, you will see them in the glass pitcher.

SLowly adding water, aquascaping, and placing corals:

    All set-up, moved, and re-aquascaped.

I added two peices of the base I had for the 200. I tried for a built up reef start from the left side, cascading down to the right. I failed miserably. But, in a strange twist, I could honestly care less. At this point, the set-up is nothing more than a temperary holding area until the 200 is up in my minds eye.
So far, nothing seems too worse for wear. Everyone is accounted for. One of my turbo's hasn't moved yet. The kenya, torch, and xenia aren't too happy with me right now, but are slowly opening. Everything else is open as normal. All fish are cruising around and eating, although they all seem a little confused. I should be in the clear, but I will know for sure on a possible cycle within the next 48 hours.

Way to go. I bet that's a load off your to-do list.

Good job on documenting it for us!
