Packleader's 40 gallon thread

Oh yeah......I didn't even notice those.......I like them too.

 

That was the first live rock I ever got. The zoa's started out a one single tiny one. They have been through a lot, thats for sure

 

Hey Pack, Talking about the purple clove polyp.....Did you buy that on a rock or as a frag? I like it on the rock. I have a small frag (that has nearly doubled in size) that I just buried in the substrate. BTW thank you for sharing your 40 gallon. You've done a great job! And you have inspired me to do the same with my 47 gal;D

I bought it on the rock. I hardly ever see any corals that are actually on the frag plugs/discs at my LFS for whatever reason. Everything I personally frag goes on rocks too, since I have so much rubble pieces left over from aquascaping.
If you feel adventurous, you can always take your corals off the frags and put them on rock! Its not to difficult, and pretty fun and addicting to get into fragging. ;D

 

The blenny is becoming less shy and I was able to get some better pics of him tonight. Also got some cool shots of one of the clowns and a hermit

What kind of camera do you have Jason? Those are really good pics. I wanna know make, model etc. I am in the market for a new camera. My large 5.1mp needs to go. It was a great camera several years ago, but now it just plain sucks.

 

looks like your starting to get some form of red slime or somethin'. you might be stocking up kind of fast, take a break for a while and get that under control first.
