Do you change the water in the bucket like you normally would for a tank.

    LMAO. I just saw this.

    To answer the questions:
No, I have never done a water change on the bucket. I am lazy. But, it wouldn't be a bad idea. I would replace it with the waste water from the main tank when doing a water change on that.
For food, I feed phyto and rotifers. I also toss a little bit of normal fish food in there every once in a while as well.

so...where do you get the phyto and rotifers? I'm interested in a mandrin once my tank is doing well, I just don't want it to be $100 a month to feed one tiny fish :p

Is there a better thread with more info? I did a search and came up with manmy references to the Bucket o pods but no real info on set up, etc....

All of the info on the set-up is in my 40 gallon thread. Kinda burried.
For phyto, you can just buy pretty much any of the bottled stuff. Rotifers can be picked up at a decent LFS.
