I went to petco today and saw a "Acanthurus sp." assorted tang. I came home and did some researching and can't find much info on it except MAYBE it's called "paellini tang" and it's reef safe. I can't remember the details of how he looks, but he has dark color...maybe dark purple. Anyone have more info on it?

    Thanks!

I believe they are also called Clown Tangs.
Considered an Expert Tang that required 150G tank or larger because of their swimming needs. They are very sensitive to water quality and ORP
    they are fairly aggressive Tangs.

It doesn't look like a Clown Tang. I am going to snap a pic today and try to reserve it.

    Will post back later! Thanks!

The descriptions of Naso Tang come very close to this fish. Could it be a Naso Tang?

If it is a Naso Tang, then it is peaceful to other species and it's reef safe. Also a hardy fish and easy to adapt captive life when young. Need at least 125 gal tank, feeds on pellets, flakes, and algae/seaweed. Am I correct?

    Thanks!

Naso for sure... had one for a couple of years.... they get real big fast so make sure you have enough room for him.
