    Hey Pagojoe, got another snail for you to ID if you will please. Got it as a hitchhiker and it does look like a nasarious but I fear it is something else, hopefully a good algae eater?? Spends all day on the glass, not sure if he is eating algae or not so hopefully you can help me. Thanks!!

    Anyone think this is a baby Tunicate? not sure what it could be really, has grown from nothing and I can't seem to find what they look like when there babies...(the black blob in the center)

    i would be scared its a cone snail but i doubt it,i do not think they shells are pointed like that. but if you did not put it in there it could be anything.

    LOL I'm a snail guy, so I can't tell you much about the black blob...may be a sponge. The snail is a good guy, though. It's an algae-eating columbellid, and looks to be Euplica scripta. It's one of the species sold as "Strombus Grazers," which aren't strombids at all, of course.
