that was what i was trying to remember the very first tank i painted had latex paint. the only problem is it will peel off. or that could be a plus if you change you mind later.

I use the plastic spray paint mainly because it's so easy to put on and not time consuming at all. I've heard that the latex paint it the best because if you change ur mind and want to remove the paint, all you have to do is find an end and peel it off;)

yeah.. latex peels off easily ..it's nice. I painted mine with some cheap artist acrylic. Either will do. Krylon would probably work best for same color evenly. Mine goes from dark blue at the bottom blended to lighter as it goes up... so the artist paint worked well.

I went royal blue latex roll on ...took about 4 coats and it was time consuming...but I'm a perfectionist and wanted thin coats for better coverage and a solid color. took 2 days to apply and 3 to competely dry....then I put on the old blue aquarium backdrop It had over the paint to keep from it scratching with the equipment down the back. I tried the blending from light to dark...but it didn't work to well...spray would be the way to go for that i would think.

Good luck!! ( that was my introduction to Patience !! )
