I have a DIY overflow box made out of clear acrylic and I want to paint it to match my bacground. Can you use Krylon spray paint? This bax is in the tank and I don't want to use something that will hurt the livestock.:worried2::help:

You should be able to use Krylon Fusion paint with no issues. I would take measures to keep the paint out of the water though (just in case). I know this paint is used to paint PVC piping in reef tanks with no issues. Just not sure how well it will bind with acrylic.

I painted the inside of my overflow box with Krylon. That way I can clean the outside of it without scraping the paint. No problems.
