    I would wipe it down with diluted pure ammonia/RO water (not windex). If pure ammonia gets into the tank, it will essentially be part of a nitrogen cycle at that point.
    Vinegar will work too, but could lower the pH pf the water. I doubt that either would be the case since we are talking such a small amount though.
