Painting the house

    Is it ok to paint the house with my tank present? If nit what should I do?

    yeah when i did mine, I turned off all the pumps in the sump, covered everything very tightly and placed a bunch of pumps in the tank when i was doing the room with the tank. I kept it covered overnight to be safe but i dont think the actual fumes would harm anything but I believe better be safe then sorry

    Yeah, assuming you are not spraying, it should be okay. I haven't found paint to be an issue. Dust maybe more of an issue if your sanding, but certainly shackmel's recommendation is quite reasonable IMO.
