I was thinking about painting our home and I was curious to know if the fumes were a problem for the tanks. They will be tarped.

Also, getting carpet laid in the future. Company said they can move the tanks and that it would not be a problem. A 90 gal. tank moving seems as though it would be a problem. Any suggestions???

    Sounds stressful!
I'd probably make sure they had some fresh carbon and ventilation - can you open a window?

Plenty of ventilation...very stressful indeed. For everyone/thing involved!

So, you don't see a problem with the fumes then?

The paint is a semi-gloss, not too strong of an odor.

Well bringing in as much fresh air as possible and keeping it circulated is your best bet.

    Random thoughts...

Think about the order in which the rooms are painted. Maybe doing the fish room last keeping the door closed while the other rooms are being done would help.

Stick an air pump outside somewhere and run some line through a window into the tank.
