pair of clowns?

    Agree agree.

    And It really doesn't matter between orange and black sex wise. But like he said just add a juvenile after you have added the other. But if you don't wait but like a week or two to get the other, it really doesn't matter if there both small

    I think someone on here has a black and white ocellaris with a orange and white ocellaris and they get along fine. I am not sure about mixing an onyx percula with an orange and white ocellaris. I do know that you do not want to mix maroon clowns with any other clownfish as they are more territorial. Also, if you think there will be a problem with adding another clownfish to a tank that already has clownfish in it, you could take them all out, rearrange or move their territory, then put them back in it. So they have to reclaim a territory again and it will be less stressful on the new clown. I am also pretty sure than once the larvae develope they all turn into males. Then the most dominant turns female, and the next down the line will become her mate and turn into a full male. A very good book to have is Clownfishes by Joyce D. Wilkerson.
