Can a yellow false percula & maroon gold striped clown fish be paired?

I had a pair of two maroon gold striped clownfish. But the male died. I purchased a yellow false percula because there were no maroons the size I wanted available. Good idea or bad?? Should I just return the yellow false percula and wait for the next shipment to get another maroon?

Bad.... They won't pair up together but they'll do fine in the same tank.

It depends on the tank size. I usually do not reccommend keeping 2 types of clowns in a tank less than 100gal
