Look man things happen, just saying. and no they dont build extra panels but they could buy an extra of each LED just in case at what 5 bux vs a whole strip at 100... Ill go the cheap way all day. Also what if you drop it in the water? or salt creep gets on it. Look man im not DOUBTING them im just saying if you could get something with modular capabilities, ie replacing a light, lense, even drivers.... why not? And you get dimmability, contralbility, and durability. And crossing bridges before they need to be is ALWAYS a great precaution, and if im investing money in something... Its gonna be the most cost effective way down the road. If you wanted to change the color down the road what are you gonna do??? but a whole new strip. but with rapid... you can do it over time with 1 LED here, 2 there, however.

It is what it is, me and you obviously dont see eye to eye on a lot, like skimmers and now leds. So agree to disagree. OP is gonna get 2 and call it a day so forget it. IMO... Rapid > Pan. Pro.

Actually, they made the Panorama Pro with a coating on the outside so it isn't damaged by SW...the rep at MACNA submersed it in a SW display tank. lol.

But that's beside the point. Both the Rapid kits and Panorama Pro strips have their pros and cons over any tank, even the Biocube. Personally, I think either would be fine over your tank. No need to make a big deal about it.

Like I said before I am going to do Rapid LED 24 bulb setup and add Magenta Stunner to add color pop.

I am sure Pan Pros are BA,and it looks like the Pros may be cheaper at first but when something goes wrong you will pay more to repair if possible.

I think both products are great and I am looking forward to owning both someday soon.

Yeah, I saw it on one of Mr. Saltwater Tank's videos. It was either MACNA or MAX. I forget which.

I bet Ecoxotic would replace it if it died out. LEDs don't just die unless their is an electrical problem or it is old (like 10 yrs).

Thanks too all of you for all the help, I have a while to do research and such so I probably won't make up my mind for a while.

@seano, which video was that? I'm a huge fan of him.

And as for the emergency thing... If one of them goes out I'll still have the stock lights.
