    Very nice!!

I can give you some pointers on making this shot, or your next, even better!!

    - Set the White Balance to manual that way do don't get any color changes between both pictures.

    - Use the same depth of field that way the aperture doesn't change.

    - After the two pictures are sewn together, crop the image that way you don't get the obvious look of a pano (the jagged borders).

Good luck and keep the pictures coming!!

Cool pic. I love doing panoramics. I took one for one of my dad's coworkers of their property. It ended up being a combination of 18 pictures and the file size was over 2.5 gigs. Gotta love photoshop.

its really hard to do the same depth haha I tried moving a table along infront of it and I still couldn't get it, I'm going to try and borrow a tripod from my uncle. Steve it took way to many...I had to go back to the lfs like 3 times just to buy a single rock at a time because I wasn't completely happy. I wanted as much horizontal surface area as possible.

Just a tip, don't move the camera when taking a panorama. Just rotate it in place. If you move the camera side to side, it's a lot harder to make sure that you stay the same distance away from the subject.

    +1

Unless you have some kind of "rail" setup that moves the camera horizontally.. Too complicated IMO..

A tripod is key to good panos
