Well I have a seacone 150 skimmer hang on. And like most people I have had a major issue with micro bubbles.
I read the one post and tried to change the air intake. It helps a little but after 2 hrs of trying to adjust it I got tired and thought of filtering the returning water.

Mind you I am a single guy and I got pretty werid looks while buying panty hose at Shopper's Drug Mart. Besides the point I then cut the bottom foot sections off of the panty hose and pull them over the return flow. I added in carbon to add to the filtering effect.

Any other suggestions would be helpful for these microbubbles

i tried that, and i tried placing filter media under outflow. for some reason it restricted the flow and caused the skimming to stop. for a week i couldnt figure why the skimming stopped. it got rid of the micros though. i tried everything then decided to remove the media. it started skimming.
    how new is yours?
i hate to say it but the bubbles will take a while but will go away.
the seaclone is a very stressful piece but after a few curse words and time it will work well.

Aww the skimmer I have had running for 2 months now. It has been one headache after the next. I tried a baffle setup on the return and that didnt help any. But I am noticeing now it doesn't seem to be skimming anymore! I am emptying the container every 30 min

ya i swear by the intake mod. once you get the hang of it its pretty easy to find the right air water mix. back the air flow all the way open. turning it slowly the skimmer will make a gurreling sound for two or three seconds. once you hear that you went one turn to far. open it back up two turns close it one.
give it a couple of trys and youll hear what i mean

I haven't done this myself but I have seen it in action.
The Skimmer should always empty at or above the water level. So place Vertically a 3-4 inch diameter piece of PVC so that it extends 2 inches out of the water. Make the Skimmer flow into this piece of PVC now get a 6 inch piece of PVC and place that around the 4 inch piece. only have it 1/2 - 1 inch above the water surface. This will create instant water baffles.

I don't have a seaclone but using pantyhose for bagging GAC seems like a good idea.
