If any of you guys are using the Par style bulbs can you post photos of how you have them mounted or hung. I'm trying to get an idea of how I want to tackle this and haven't figured out exactly how I'm wanting to tackle this yet and am looking for ideas. Also list the size tank and # of bulbs you are using.

    Thanks

I'm using them for supplemental lighting. I don't have pictures handy, but have them in a fixture, so, they are out of sight and therefore the mounting is geared towards function than looks anyways.

IMO, track lighting from any hardware store, lowes, HD etc.. is the cleanest and best looking. Also, places like IKEA has some very nice fixtures for PAR bulbs.

Is this a PAR30 or PAR38? And do you want to hang it, mount it on a wall behind the tank, clip it to the tank etc? lots of possibilities, but, need to know more about what you want to do.

I'm not exactly sure what I'm wanting to do yet just know that I want it to be extreamly neat looking due to the fact it's going in my living room kinda as a center piece so deffinatly don't want to end up with a cluttered mess in there.

well a major factor in how you mount it is how big is your tank and how many bulbs are you using??

Well tank I'm going to be setting up is a 20L 30x12x12 not 100% if I'm going to need 2 or 3 yet, have email boostled about getting recomendations from them now I'm looking into how I can mount these over tank to see what will work best for me.

Yeah boost did just come out wither there own set up, and for a 20L your would prolly only need 2 w/ 60 optics unless your trying to go heavy sps then I'd say 3 with 40 optics :)

I have the Boostled fixture. I have a review of it in my pico thread. I wouldn't use it for a "stylish" center piece. I would recommend going with pendant style lighting hanging from the ceiling if you want that modern look. The clamp on style fixtures just kind distract from the tank.
