I think I sent you the link to the Rapid LED Biocube 29 retrofit kit 2 times already buddy. Here is is a third time. :p

    Biocube 29 Dimmable Retrofit Kit

Just playing with you man. ;D But this is definitely your best bang for your buck. If you went with 3 par30s you would literally spend the same amount if not more including the light fixtures holding the bulbs. And this is dimmable. And you can keep the stock hood. And you can keep SPS!

Sadly it's the price tag. I'm looking for something around 150$ or less...

if going LED I promise you wont find that price...MH you will find it upfront but and this is a big but, you will have to replace expensive bulbs often...for the $225 you spend on LEDs that will last you 50,000 hours compared to the initial $150 on the MH fixture, plus a replacement bulb within the first year lets just say $50 for a good bulb and the electric bill expenses...it definitely doesnt add up in all honesty...i would wait a little longer like a month or throw $25 a week off to the side for the month and you got your LEDs

Yeah that's true. I'll keep the retrofit in mind. It might not be till my birthday in September though. It will be perfect, September is when I'll need to replace the fluorescents so I'll just use that money towards LEDS. Any other options other than the retrofit? I like the idea of 2-3 par30s because I can have an open top.

in all honesty unless you have a very small nano or pico i would aim to stay away from the par30s because they have such a narrow beam and 3 par 30s is no cheaper than the retrofit...probably about the same

for the best coverage for your buck go with the retrofit and you arent limited to just blue/whit with that...if you talk to rapid they'll send whatever colors you want so you can mix in a little extra supplemental colors in with that :)
