Paraniod about adding Mushrooms?

Hmm, my shrooms and GSP are about the slowest growing thing in my tank. My waters always really clean though and I have T5HO's

 

I absaloutly love mushrooms. I have no idea why but I just do.
So far none of mine have spread. the only way I have got them to "reproduce" is by cutting them. I have had them for around 8 months as well.

 

My GSP spreads pretty good and I have contained it to one rock in the sandbed by itself, so it cant spread to the rest of the tank, but I cant grow mushrooms in my tank to save my life. They just maintain, wont grow no matter what i do. So I wouldnt say they spread like crazy in everyones tanks.

 

They spread like a virus in my last tank. I'll never have another one.

 

My mushrooms dont grow like crazy. They have stayed pretty small and have only multiplied when I hacked them up. It is probably because I give them to much light though. If you do have them then want to get rid of them you got to make sure you get the foot off with it when you cut it off or it will just grow again where you cut it off. A friend of mines tank has the same mushroom I have and his grows like crazy and are huge. They reproduce, release and spread all over his aquarium. I don't know what he does differently then me but I'm glad mine don't do that.
