The build's looking awesome! I'm glad it finally got underway again. Keep us posted. That looks like it's going to be a very organized cabinet under the tank. Looking great.

You should use sound dampening materials to quite the noise from the pumps before you plumb them up. I was talking with a guy when I had the problem and he recommended the following material. Noise Control Barriers, Soundproofing Materials - All Noise Control, The Soundproofing Specialists

I did not use it because I moved my two pumps outside. I don’t think you have a relocation option so you might want to try this.

Other than a potential noise problem you build looks great. Keep up the good work!

I'm not to worried about the noise, the cabinet should block a fair amount of it. The tank is located in the home theater room, so if it's bit noisy it won't be anything that a couple taps of the volume button won't fix. ;D

We have water in the tank!

That 65wx2 CF fixture doesn't light up the tank to well.

The tank isn't quite full, the return holes at the top of the overflow are supposed to be 3/4" but they don't fit. The returns and drains are running but only in the overflow box. I have one small leak at a union that I have to take care of but other then that everything looks good.

    Thanks guys.

I'm trying to take my time and make this a quality build. With my past tanks I've always taken some shortcuts in order to get the tank up and running. I'm trying to avoid that with this tank.
