It is a dry heat, yeah right !
The rock structure looks a lot smaller in the tank.

Yeah that would be a lot of water, this tank was used right.

Yea. It last held water during my wet test. I forget how long ago that was but it wasn't TOO long ago.

Received my MP40 power supply replacement from Premium Aquatics yesterday so now I have two fully functional MP40s.

Spent the afternoon getting my Netgear wireless adapter set up on the home network with the Apex so that I can access it wirelessly. I set my email alerts up and got that rolling as well. I'll have to do some more tweaking to the alarm/alert when I add the leak detector module but I didn't want to spend half of my weekend screwing with gateways and IP addresses. My dumb self tried to run a firmware update (which wasn't even needed) wirelessly. Halfway through, it lost communication and froze. Stopping the update and resetting the Apex turned into a 2 hour ordeal of getting my computer to connect with the Apex so I could re-load the firmware back on. Luckily, I didn't lose any of my settings so there's always that? I've always learned more by screwing up than by getting it perfect the first time

Ordered 6ft. of some wire ducting but I won't have it until Monday.

Ran the RO/DI yesterday so I have as much on hand as possible to get the tank filled quickly tomorrow. I can make/store ~140 gallons and I have about 80 on hand now so I'll be running it this afternoon/tonight to get the rest and once we make room in the barrels, I'll just start it back up until we get however much we need to finish filling up the tank. I'm guesstimating total volume to be about 230ish.

I am happy to report the tank and stand are in the house without any hitches. I currently have sand (~220lbs) of the Fiji-pink and the Aquatecture rock in there. I've been filling the tank with RO/DI pretty much all day and it has been running since this morning. I started with about 100 gallons and I estimate that ill need about 230 gallons to fill the tank and sump. Once it's full and turning water over without any leaks, ill throw the salt. Still need to transfer the Apex from my 28 to the this tank as well as install the leak detection module/sensors and get that set up in the settings. Still have to fill and setup the Tunze top off as well. Got the MP40s up and running. No lights in the canopy as Ill be putting in new lights when I can talk myself into spending the money.

Anyway, here is the important stuff (pictures)

    The spot!

The DT is still not completely full and I haven't begun filling the sump yet so there is still a ways to go.

Looking good so far. It's always a great feeling when it al starts to come together, and the child like excitement builds as the water goes in.

She is turning water over as of this morning. It is amazingly quiet! The JBJ is even louder than this thing. Not much left to do but add salt, switch the Apex over and install the ADL. I'm going to tint the over flows today also. Ok so there is plenty left to do.

Looks totally awesome! Love the placement you have with access views from the couch and kitchen! Also, nice shot of the celebratory beer and sunglasses - mr. cool 8)

I really like your stand color with the surrounding décor. It really makes the actual tank pop in that spot.

Thanks! I've got the salt mixed in, salinity dialed in and water level corrected. It's a whole new game when it takes a 5 gal. drain and RO refill to drop the SG from 1.029 to 1.027. I'm used to a half gallon pitcher being able to do that xD

I haven't started on the Apex transfer or the Tunze ATO install yet. I'd have to shut down the 28 which I really don't feel like doing.

Look excellent, congrats on getting it moved and filled.

Next purchase comfy chair in which to sit and watch the tank from.
