Thanks Cheryl! The ONE good thing about the short stand is that viewing from the couch is/will be perfect.

The fiancée wants to put some plants next to the tank. I think 2 shallow rimless cubes on either side with mangroves plumbed into the sump is the same as "some plants". Amirite?

Just realized that I never updated with a picture after the sand settled. Here it is as it sits now. Just try to imagine a 3rd rock in line with the other 2 of similar style :)

I'm going to order either another MP40 or a Reefbreeder 48 next week. I need both so they're each equally important.

Stay tuned as we wait out the cycle!

Knocked out a couple little projects this weekend.

Got the Tunze 3155 installed and operating. Looking forward to not having to top off twice a day (on that tank at least).

Drilled/plumbed the saltwater mixing barrel so I can dump salt in the top via funnel.

Drilled/modified one of the caps the accept the heater but retain the function of a cap to limit evaporation.

    Installed in-line TDS meter.

Cleaned up the saltwater mixing station in general.

Do you think with a reefbreeder 48 you'll have enough spread front to back?

No, I don't expect one to cover the whole tank, especially with 90 degree optics ill use because of the taller tank and my relatively short rock work.
