Is that a question orrrr just stating the facts?

BACK to Home Depot today and picked up:

    (1)4'x8' PVC sheet panel

Project: glue to bottom and silicone joints to create waterproof "tray" along bottom.

(1)2'x4' to finish up the saltwater mixing and freshwater storage rack. I want to skin it but I haven't decided how yet. Aesthetics aren't as important as function right now.

Assorted 2" plumbing for my new durso standpipes.

    Things forgotten:

    Caulk gun
High traffic carpet (to seperate the bottom of the stand and hardwood floors).

Cepex valve for pump throttle, dampening pad for the reeflo pump(another arriving tomorrow thanks to me for forgetting to order 2), uniseals for my mixing station and storage barrels and the 2" bulkhead that will feed the external return pump.

Pump is supposed to arrive tomorrow so, all goes well, I'll be throwing some water in and seeing how she flows (or leaks!).

What's a recommended set time after gluing PVC?

Still have to cut the pieces of lining to go up the sides about 2". Ill glue them down and then caulk the joints to make it water resistant.

Excellent pump choice. They are so quiet, I doubt that you would even need the dampening pad. It's nothing like a Mag pump.

    Thanks Richard for the skimmer!

Won't be able to fit. Skimmer BARELY fits with enough room for cup removal :(

Got home from the Wet Works Free Frag Fest and got to work on the stand lining. Ran out of liquid nail so I didn't finish but I made some progress.

Still have to finish cutting the side panels, glue them down and then caulk all the joints.

Finished the stand lining "tray". I'm pretty happy with it.

Thanks guys! I hope to never find out if its really water proof or not but I hope it is :)

This week, I will get the sump back under the tank, put all the plumbing up again, finish mocking the piping to include the return pump, mark the sump for drilling and then tear it all down.

Ill get the sump to a friend's so we can patch the old hole and drill the new one. After that, I'll get it home, redo the plumbing and then start gluing it together.

Ill have to level the tank (garage is sloped), fill it up with tap water and crank her wide open. Ill be testing as man scenarios as I can imagine. Still a lot of work to be done. Even more of my drains/returns are not sufficient as ill have to go back to the drawing board.
