    Calcium is a little high and Mag a teeny bit low. Your alk could be at 6 with Ca at 480+.

    My calcium has always been high. I would imagine that's because the only major absorbers would be coralline and my monti cap. Aside from not doing water changes, how is there a way to lower calcium?

    Thanks! I'm still playing with it trying to get a wave going but I may just leave it on reef crest random for now. Seems to be what most people use on a regular basis.

    Who uses the foam cover?

    You should use the cover to keep snails and your fish out of the pump.
