Jezzz I kept looking at the tank and thinking something is not right here. Then I realized this is the 28 gallon thread. Glad to see you still have it running, and the new clown is very nice indeed.

It's close, Corraline! Wedding planning is putting a hamper on available money and brought progress to a crawl.

I do have a 200 build thread. There should be a link in my signature. Hard to believe that I've had it 3 months and its still not running >.<

A new direction has been decided upon and put into action. My haddoni has eaten its fair share of fish in my 200 and the wife is upset. A compromise has been met where I remove said anemone and place it in a tank where it can do no further damage. This means the 28 comes back out!

I've cleaned it up and removed the rim for more aesthetic appeal. My power supply for the stock hood but the dust so I picked up a Maxspect nano. I set it all up last night, added sand and filled her up. I'll add some sand and few rocks from my 200 to move it along.

I also picked up a pair of ORA Clarkiis yesterday who are currently residing in the 200's sump.

Thanks! They were a local score. I lucked out that I was able to source exactly what I wanted from a LFS so quickly. I fed them pellets last night and this morning and they both ate with vigor. I'm ghost feeding this tank and I'm going to bring over some sand and small rocks tonight to kick the cycle into gear.

As if on cue, the anemone in my 200 has moved just a hair and I believe it's foot is now planted squarely on the glass bottom instead of at the base of a rock. Anyone who has tried to remove a carpet anemone from an irregular surface knows how much it sucks. Especially in a 27" deep tank that's 3 feet wide!!

Haddoni went on the move in a show of anticipation for the new tank. That's what I'm calling it anyway. He has bulldozed his way in between that rock and overflow and knocked the rock over in the process. The good news is that it's foot is now on the bottom glass instead of a rock which should make him much easier to remove.

I've had a very similar set up, but with T5. The Haddoni got huge, but it was very cool with a pair of clowns, a yellow tail damsel and Fire Shrimp. I think you'll will really like the decision you made to move the anemone over and you'll enjoy the uniqueness of the system. I actually did it twice and loved both tanks. The system takes on a south pacific tide pool feel.
