Moved over a few small pieces of rock and a cup of sand on Thursday or Friday. Interesting note--by Saturday, there was a small cyano bloom on JUST the sand that I dumped in from my 200. It's worth noting that I've never had cyano in that tank. I guess conditions have ever been right in that tank but they obviously are in the 28. I'm not worried about it at the moment. I can't so much until the chiller gets here anyway.

Chiller came in yesterday and after a quick game of pump-Tetris (fitting four Maxijets in the back compartments was a bit of a pain. One 1200 for the skimmer, one 1200 for the chiller and then the two stock Cobalts (600?) for the returns. Add a heater, media tray and hoses coming from pumps....let's just say it's crowded. Good news is, they all fit and it all works. The tank was at 85 when I plugged the chiller and in less than an hour, it was at my goal temp of 80. I ran out of outlets so I unplugged my heater but I wasn't sure if that was going to cause an issue since we cool the house pretty low at night but I woke up to 79.5 so it may be alright for the time being.

    As it sits now:

With all those pumps, it really needs an ATO so I guess I'll be buying two of those since the 200 needs one after my Osmolator control unit crapped out. It's only been running for about 10 days so I'm still giving the tank some time to settle before adding anything. I want to bring the haddoni over first but I want to make sure the tank is stable enough before adding it.

my favorite thing in this hobby - the clown/anemone relationship. Beautiful! Doesn't surprise me that the female figured it out so fast ;)

Seems that both Clarkii will use the haddoni as a host because when I cleaned the glass with the mag-float, they BOTH dove in like the world was ending. The smaller of the two will not use it under normal circumstances or at least it hasn't any time I've ever been watching the tank.
Waiting for the holiday week over before placing an order for my macro algae (c. prolifera) and a small CuC.
