So glad you got some good fish and it's going well, much more rewarding when the fish do well.

I've been eyeing some corals to help liven up the look of the tank but I want to make sure my current inhabitants are happy before adding anything else.

I broke up the one huge peice of base rock that didnt fit in the tank. I made it into some fist-sized peices that will be more usable (for what, I'm not sure b/c I don't want to change the scape again) but I also broke some into rubble to add to the back side for some added filtration once it seeds.

Here are a couple of recent shots. I haven't taken a picture of the YWG in the DT yet but I have a shot of him in the QT.

My BW clown (affectionately known as "Homie" from In Living Color) has begun showing submissive male behavior by "twitching. I know both male and females will do this but the BW is a bit smaller and has shown no aggression at all compared to the already introduced orange occ.

Both of them have shown signs of internal parasites (long/stringy feces) so now I have to order some Prazipro. I'm still FOWLR but judging from the warning online, my feather dusters may bite the dust with the treatment. Unfortunately, I don't have a plethora of options.

Good news is that aside from that, both are still very healthy and eating very well. All other tank inhabitants are also doing well and eating their fair share.

And since new posts should include new pictures:

Amazing the pictures a phone can take nowadays. Thanks guys!

I've officially started my coral research. I figure by the time that I'm ready to buy, it may be a few months down the road. Here are a few that have piqued my interest.

    Zoas
    Candy apple red
    Purple Hornet
    Dragon's Eye (non and Radioactive)
    Mean green

    Euphyllia
    Hammer
    Torch
    Frogspawn

I know these are somewhat aggressive and given the lack of real estate, may not be a great choice in a nano.

    Ricordea
I've read that these prefer vertical placement and I've got a lot of vertical real estate that would otherwise be a waste.

    Acans

Long list and I certainly can't house them all but this list is for refinement.

YWGs are such hams!! I just love how much personality they've got.

I think mine suffers from bipolar schizophrenea or dissociative identity disorder. Some days, he's brave and out in the open where nothing seems to spook him. Other days, my mere presence in the room is enough to keep him in his cave. Everything but my CBS and purple firefish is oozing with personality...my hermits are like tweedle dee and tweedle dumb, my clowns are like Lucy and Ricky Ricardo. I picture my YWG as Fred Mertz :D
