Pavona. I think it dead.

    uh, Did you not read that I said it looks and feels dead to me?:confused::confused::confused:


    and if theres no full pove way to know other than "its probably not dead" I will have to take it out to find out.

    Liveaquaria.com has it under SPS. I understand it is leaning more toward the SPS side, maybe? I ordered a 10 SPS Pack from liveaquaria and they sent me a pavona a couple months ago. It's kinda up in the air!

    I did read you say "It little green fuzzy polyps are still there", to which it was replied that it's still alive by others on the thread.

    So, throw out a living coral. Have fun.

    Don't take it out. If it has colour and polyps it has just receded. Ask yourself what is different in my tank? or What have I done differently lately? Test your water and post your params maybe we can help save your other coral as well.;)

    I highly doubt it's dead. If it was dead it would have no color and the polyps would not be there. Something is different in your tank and it doesn't like it. Btw, the coral is hard, not soft, so therefore it feels hard.
