Looking to change my setup around and wanted to know what my current lighting would be considered? This is a 90 gallon tank.

Its as stated PC 4x65 with 50/50 bulbs.

I want medium to high lighting as the tank will be mainly LPS softies and maybe some polyps corals.

    thanks
    Jacob

You could use a 4x54w T5HO or 6x54w T5HO to take care of your needs. The 6 bulb unit will allow you to add moderate light needing SPS corals if you place them on the mid to upper portions of your rock. The 4 bulb unit you could do the same if you place the SPS on the tops of your rock beneath the bulbs.

2in10 you are very helpful around these parts! LOL I wanna thank you for everything as you are very informative!

Simpliy because I plan to step up to a larger tank very soon I have been looking at this system which I can tailor all the lighting how ever is best suited for my application which I like plus I am pretty sure it will be sufficient for my upgrade to a 140g or 180g.

+1 to 2in10 - You could run 2x150 halides, but you get much more color options, less heat issues, lower power, potentially better colors with T5HO.
I wouldn't do PC lighting. You could do a Custom LED lighting! All the cool kids are doing it

I think the 72" one would do the trick.

I would love to and if I can find one for around the same price I would be all over it!

I dont think I fit into the blowing money category and the cool kid area? Mehh.... LOL

My tank is only 48" long. LOL 72 would light up the area around the tank also! lol

I was thinking of the future expansion. I would be a bit of a pain to go from a 4 foot tank to a 6 foot tank with a 4 foot fixture. I suppose they have 2 foot fixtures that you could get when you expand.
